Natural ways to clean clogged pores on face
Clogged pores on skin make your skin look dull and aged. Pores size is generally determined by genetics. These clogged pores also have the ability to expand and stretch to accommodate dust and dirt.
Pores on skin also lead to bumps and black heads, pimples on skin, especially in people who have sensitive oil glands. So make sure clean to skin pores from foreign particles and rejuvenate your skin.
Take hot water in a bucket and put some rose petals, lavender, rosemary, basil, and mint. Now slowly move your face over the steam while covering your face with towel. Inhale the aromatic scent and do it for 10-15 mins. This will let to opening your face pores bringing oxygen and moisture to your face.
Exfoliation using baking soda
Baking soda will balance the pH of your skin and remove dirty particles from the surface of your face. Be careful if you have sensitive skin as it may cause irritation. Just add two table spoon of baking soda in 2 table spoon of water. Now apply this paste on your skin in circular motion until it gets dried.
Clay masks are good in absorbing excess oil from your skin. In addition it also cleans foreign particles from enlarged pores. Multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth) have the ability to deep clean the skin, reducing pores size and making skin tighter. It also reduces scars and blemishes as well. Just add rose water to 2 table spoon of multani mitti and apply it on your face. Let it dry for 10-15 mins and then wash out with cold water.
The probiotics and lactic bacteria present in yogurt fights with bad bacteria that causes acne. Thus reducing the appearance of pores size. Yogurt is also a good cleanser that will help unclog the pores of impurities. Stir the yoghurt well and apply the paste on your face and leave it on for ten minutes. Then rinse it off with cold water and repeat once a week.
Egg whites are said to be the best skin tightening agent thus reducing pores size. It is also very good in absorbing excess oil from skin and removing the dirt from your face. Lemon juice contains citric acid that helps in toning the skin and improving its elasticity. Together, they’re a match made in skin heaven. Whisk two egg whites and add some lemon juice and apply the paste to your face (it might give you a tingly feeling) and let it sit till it dries. Rinse the mix off with water and pat dry.
